It never ceases to amaze what can be created with the help of water. This desert land North West of Las Vegas has remained unchanged for thousands of years until someone had the idea of building a golf resort.

Paiute Golf Resort - Las Vegas

Located 20 minutes from downtown Las Vegas, Paiute is owned by the Paiute Indian tribe, an ancient Nevada tribe whose history dates back to the Aztecs.

The tribe decided in the mid 90’s to take advantage of the golf boom in the region and employed the services of renowned golf course designer Pete Dye.

Dye has designed three courses on the resort property since 1996; Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and the Wolf course.

The courses have met with widespread acclamation by the golfing fraternity including Snow Mountain’s recognition as Golf Digest’s best Public Access course in Las Vegas.
