Wairakei International Golf Course was designed by five times British Open winner, Peter Thomson. The par 72 championship golf course measures 7,072 yards/ 6,429 metres and offers four sets of tees to test all levels of golfing.
Wairakei’s aim is to provide the highest standard of facilities and service, ensuring that the experience had by all visitors is one they remember.
The course, although privately owned is primarily here to cater for the Taupo visitor market both domestic and international.
